Installation Guide for Conventional Comments Helper

Installing from Chrome Web Store

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store
2. Click the "Add to Chrome" button
3. Confirm the installation when prompted
4. The extension will automatically activate on GitHub.com

Verifying Installation

To verify that the extension is installed correctly:

1. Open any GitHub pull request or issue
2. Click on a comment box
3. You should see the Conventional Comments toolbar appear above the comment box

Requirements

• Google Chrome browser (version 88 or later)
• GitHub.com account
• Access to the Chrome Web Store

Troubleshooting

If you don't see the toolbar:

1. Make sure you're on GitHub.com
2. Try refreshing the page
3. Check that the extension is enabled in Chrome:
   • Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar
   • Find "Conventional Comments Helper"
   • Ensure it's enabled (the toggle should be blue)
